Occupying Spaces: The White Dress Project

UAL London College of Fashion, MA Fashion Curation

Carnaby Street, 2009

Occupying Spaces: The White Dress Project was curated and designed by London College of Fashion’s MA Fashion Curation cohort, and featured multiple versions of the same white dress - made collaboratively by the students from a Simplicity sewing pattern in the university archives - displayed in a series of conventional and unusual ways. As such, visitors were invited to consider how the message of the object subsequently changes.
